Quran Study: Surah Yusuf - Episode 6

What happened to Yusuf and the sequence in which it occurred was not by chance, but rather Allah had predestined it. It was a Divine Plan. The brothers committed a crime, which triggered Yusuf’s journey from the deserts of Palestine to the heart of one of the most powerful kingdoms of the ancient world: Egypt. This verse reminds us of a quintessential aspect of our creed: tawakkul or trust in Allah. It means that everything happens according to Allah’s plan.
