Many sports are not only televised but are also available on the radio so that you can listen to the game, match, or race while you travel in your car. So why didn't radio controlled model vehicle Racing ever show up on the AM (Amplititude Modulation) or FM (Frequency Modulation) dials of terrestrial radio, but have become a popular part of audio-only podcasts in the modern age?
