from Storytime
Reddit rSlash Storytime r relationships where My mom is trying to force me to invite 40 of her “closest friends” to my wedding Married but wanting separate bank accounts My boyfriend quit his job, paid our rent late, got an eviction on his record, didn’t tell me, and now owes me over $7K. How do I get past this? Friend (24F) confessed she slept with guy (25M) after she insisted I(24F) should date him for months my boyfriend told me to shut up when i was trying to tell him to be nice to his dad. then he acted like everything was fine when we went to meet up with our friends. i know i shouldn’t have got involved with his family but i feel so disrespected. what should i do? I'm looking for validation or support that living with someone with nightmare disorder/ night terrors since 2 & 1/2 years can be difficult.. I'm feeling guilty for thinking that and I don't want to portray myself as the victim, he is obv the person suffering. Just supporting him through this has been tough for me too. Some ways are that he is sleepy and tired , he has very negative self perception, I also wake up at night with him when he is having these attacks and he doesn't remember this in the morning.. just that he had bad dreams. I'm not looking for solutions, just empathy while I look for a therapist. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
