r/Relationships MY MOTHER IN LAW GOT ME THE WORST GIFT EVER! - Reddit Stories

from Storytime

Reddit rSlash Storytime r relationships where After more than 5 years in country X, I have to leave because of my legal status and move to another country where I got a new job. Whereas my partner gets to stay in country X with no problem and we're forced to do long distance when there was the alternative to get married. I’m away for a few weeks alone on a trip and my SO has been ghosting me. i caught my boyfriend of over a year urinating into a plastic bottle while I was in bed with him. He has admitted he has been doing it for years because he can't get himself out of bed when he is trying to sleep. I find this super gross and I don't know how to react ex friend thinks I stole the man that asked me to marry him from her. Now is exposing me on social media and calling my work My parents are threatening to disown me/block me on everything if I don’t break up with my girlfriend of 1.5 years. I love her but we haven’t made any long term commitments to each other but we have both made sacrifices and communicate to show our love. My parents are also great parents but super overprotective (such as using an app to track me at all times) and have also done this before with my previous girlfriend. I don’t live at home but I don’t know what to do because I love both my parents and girlfriend but I know I will regret it if I leave her. my bf has an older friend who is an authority for him. That friend was rude to me and shouted at me. When I asked my bf to ask his friend to be nice to me, he didn’t manage to do it. We got into a fight and he told me his friend is more important to him, even though we’ve been talking about marriage and kids together. It’s been 3 weeks since we spoke and he blames me in his mind for telling off his friend that he needs to respect me in my house. Don’t know if to move on or try and save relationship.
