R.S. #19 - High Gravity

from Random Signal

It's finally starting to feel like Fall around here, which means, of course, that pretty soon I won't have to worry about mowing my lawn for a few months! The Duke University Podcasting Symposium went well, at least the small part of it that I was involved in did. I had a great time, and I hope they invite me again next year! I am starting to worry that this show is too eclectic to ever find a big audience. Too much geek? Not enough? I wonder... Oh well, let's talk about giant squids instead! And beer. In particular, the World Beer Festival in Durham, NC (this weekend) and the newly legal (in NC at least) high gravity beers. Hoorah for beer! Spoiler Alert!!! Beware my rambling look at Lost season two if you're not caught up with the show. And of course, there's a song... "Malthus, Thomas Robert (1809-1882)" by Artichoke

Some just give up. Bad move. JESUS LIVES and REIGNS! Some simply "go along to get along" to conform to culture and biological family. Really bad move, unless you are a lemming and don't care about the destiny someone else has chosen for you.
