Rabbit Trap
from Messed Up Movies
Today Griffey and Dandino belly flop in to the fairy circle that is Rabbit Trap. They discuss the spell the film puts us under with sparse settings and poetic tradgedy, how to handle an odd pushy little kid and his rabbit offerings, and what the mossy fairy tale ending wants us to take away from the movie. Dev Patel always has a keen sense for interesting material and this is no exception. Join the pod in this art house sound scape. Synopsis: Married couple Daphne and Darcy Davenport are two musicians who moved from London to a cottage in Wales to complete their new album. By accident they record a mystical sound never heard before and gradually disconnect from reality.
