While hosting a New Year's countdown show, Blaze gets a phone call from a man with a disguised voice who says he is going to commit murder. As the New Year arrives in each time zone across America, he changes into a new disguise and commits another murder, calling Blaze each time to torment her live on air. As the killer works his way closer to her, will the police be able to catch him in time?
