How do we conservatives conduct ourselves, shape our opinions, in the context of Scripture? God’s Nature Includes Love God’s nature includes His love. This is part of His essence. How does this impact us in the context of race relations? Does God’s nature impact the way we live in community? Our ability to love comes from God. A clear understanding of God’s love for us is essential to our being able to love others. If God pours His love into us, if love is a fruit of the Spirit, then “having love” becomes incredibly important. History A discussion of our history reveals issues that are shameful and difficult to talk about. How are we to discuss this in a loving, caring way? Racial issues are real, and it is our mutual responsibility to care about these matters.
