Back in March of 2008, 30-year-old Rachel Conger had recently split up with her husband, Paul. Rachel and her daughter, Amber, moved to a new home in Como, TN. Rachel borrowed a truck from a friend so she could move some furniture to her new place. On the evening of March 12, 2008, Rachel told her daughter that Paul was coming to stay the night. She said he was off his medication and not acting right. Rachel told Amber that she was trying to keep him calm. She warned her daughter that if anything happened, for her to climb out the window and call for help.
