Rachelle Splatt- Queen Of Speed

Our special guest for show #050 of Torque and Chatter is "The Queen Of Speed", Rachelle Splatt.  Growing up in Victoria within a motorsport family, racing was part of Rachelle's DNA.   Rachelle's initiation to drag racing was in a Monaro and then quickly into a top fuel dragster, from this point her career rose at a rapid rate. Rachelle won the 1993 championship and left for the USA to race in the prestigious NHRA series.  Whilst over there she became the first female in the world to achieve 300mph. In this show we speak in depth about Rachelle's time in racing and what it takes to achieve the success in this sport.
