Racial Politics in the Workplace

Why am I called African-American when I’ve never been to Africa in my life? Karen and Jim both want to know. Should companies be compelled to create prayer rooms for their employees? (Its almost happening in the UK.) And if I am checking my blackberry in the check out line, I should get paid for it. If you use a company phone to send text messages, does the employer have the right to read them?
