Racial Reconciliation

Dred Scott and Plessy v. Ferguson - two 19th century landmark Supreme Court cases that denied basic civil rights to African Americans. Now in the 21st century, the descendants of the plaintiffs and judges in these cases are working together towards racial healing. It’s a candid conversation about how some laws led to racism and how we can work together now for change. Our guests include Lynne M. Jackson, great great-granddaughter of Dred Scott, the slave who sued for his freedom in 1857; and Henry L.
