Er hat zahlreiche Bücher zum Antisemtismus veröffentlicht, u.a. das sechsbändige "Handbuch des Antisemitismus" (als Nachschlagewerk online). Wolfgang Benz ist Unterzeichner der so genannten "Jerusalemer Erklärung zum Antisemitismus", in der eine Neudefinition des Begriffs "Antisemitismus" vorgeschlagen wird. Wolfgang Benz, born in 1941, headed the Centre for Research on Anti-Semitism at the TU Berlin for more than 20 years. He has published numerous books on anti-Semitism, including the six-volume ‘Handbook of Anti-Semitism’ (available online as a reference work). Wolfgang Benz is a signatory of the so-called ‘Jerusalem Declaration on Anti-Semitism’, which proposes a new definition of the term ‘anti-Semitism’.
