Rassismus in Großbritanniens - Racism in the UK - பிரிட்டனின் இனவெறி - mit/with Ambalavaner Sivanandan

from audio archive Podcast · host Christoph Burgmer

/🎓 Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Ambalavaner Sivanandan (2023-2018). Ambalavaner Sivanandan ran the London-based Institute of Race Relations together with his colleagues from 1972. The IRR still publishes one of the world’s most influential anti-racist journals, ”Race & Class”. The conversation with Sri Lankan-born Amalavan Sivanandan centres on how the UK has become a country with entrenched structural racism, politically within the Conservative Party. Britain’s institutionalised racism has become a ”role model” for right-wing and radical right-wing parties in the rest of Europe, for example when it comes to the issue of migration and asylum. 🔥 - Institute of Race Relation - - Thoughts, writings and speeches of A.SIVANANDAN #greatbrotain #racism #irr Follow us & Subsribe to our newsletter / Our homepage: https://audio-archiv.com Audio Archive Podcast - Go against the Grain is self financed.
