Radiant | A Posture of Pride and a Heart of Humility

Radiant is Anchor City's women's ministry. Women can easily find themselves entangled in a web of social and community expectations that are sometimes conflicting, often competing, and always overwhelming. In this parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, Jesus illustrates why the posture of pride that our society preaches is problematic. Jesus explains that only a heart of humility can accept his gift of righteousness and when we look to him for help, we are made radiant with joy.
