Radiant Hearts EP 10

from Najam Institute Hosted by Samir Wahid

Radiant Hearts is a captivating and enlightening series, meticulously curated by the esteemed Mufti Samir Wahid, that graciously unfolds week after week. This exceptional series holds a profound significance for every devout Muslim, as it delves deep into the essence of their being - the heart. With utmost care and insight, Mufti Samir Wahid takes us on a transformative journey, revealing the secrets to purifying our hearts and cultivating a sense of contentment within them. Throughout this remarkable series, we are immersed in invaluable discussions on the art of cleansing our hearts, while seeking to attain goodness and tranquility within. Moreover, we delve into the intricate understanding of the maladies that afflict our hearts, learning to recognize and confront them with resolute attributes, fostering an environment where they find no room to thrive. Comparing the heart to the brain of the soul, Mufti Samir Wahid beautifully illustrates this profound concept through the inspiring words of Ali (radiyallahu anhu). As Ali (radiyallahu anhu) eloquently expresses, the heart serves as the seat of intellect, with the liver embodying mercy, the spleen embracing sympathy, and the lungs encompassing the very essence of life. In the realm of spirituality, it is of paramount importance to take heed of the profound message presented in Surah Shams. Here, Allah, the Most High, swears an astounding seven times before conveying the essential message: "قد أفلح من زكها وقد خاب من دسها" (Indeed, he succeeds who purifies his ownself [his heart] and indeed, he fails who corrupts his ownself [his heart]). Thus, Radiant Hearts serves as a guiding light, illuminating the path towards inner purity, blissful contentment, and spiritual success. Mufti Samir Wahid's profound insights and thought-provoking wisdom leave an indelible impact, empowering us to embark on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth, ultimately leading to a heart that resonates with divine enlightenment and serenity. As the series unfolds its treasures, it instills within us a renewed sense of purpose and a profound desire to nurture our hearts, the very core of our being, into radiant sanctuaries of goodness, virtue, and divine blessings.
