Ep #292 - Radical Empowerment - A Solo Show with your host, Susan Burrell   This latest episode of Empowering Chats is a recording of a show I recently pulled from my archives. It first ran in 2018, the year I launched my podcast, Empowering Chats with Susan Burrell. I feel, actually no, I know that the words I shared back then still have relevance today. Perhaps more so, that is why I chose to re-run this show now. In this chat I talk about unlocking the power we carry within. And about having the courage to look at those pieces of ourselves that we don't like. Places many of us don’t want to look at. I know I don't like looking at them. It can be dark, murky and a little scary. And yet in life it is important to investigate those dark spots. And embrace all that we are. I call this Radical Empowerment. It’s really about embracing all the parts of ourselves. The good. The not so good. The parts you like and don’t like. It’s about integrating all of the parts that make up who we are. And about recognizing that we are all divine sparks of light. And when we don’t feel good about ourselves that light dims. And sometimes the outer pressure is where we look to get validation. To get grounded or empowered.  But that is not where true empowerment comes from. I believe true empowerment comes from the heart space. Not from our mind. By stepping into this journey from a heart-centered space, I find it easier to make a connection with myself and with others in my life. Anytime is the right time to dive deep and investigate our inner landscape. And as the season of summer fades and the fall/winter season approaches I feel now is especially perfect timing for us to go within and excavate what no longer serves us and embrace all that we are.
