Radio blah blah

from Classified Sound · host DirtyhookZ

Producer: DirtyhookZ (Liam Campbell) Composer: DirtyhookZ (Liam Campbell) Engineer: DirtyhookZ (Liam Campbell) Vocal: Freddy Mercury a cappella I come across this a cappella amongst many of my vocals and experimented with a few of my productions to see if it would blend with anything. I come across one of my songs that I felt was about 50% complete. It had the base the structure the beat but needed something that I wasn’t quite sure of. so I added this a cappella to that production file fitted it to tempo do a little bit of adjusting and found that it blended extremely well. It’s also a production that is quite unique and different and I feel relates to the lyrics of finding new music and a new sound. I want my music to be different to everyone else and I want to be the one that creates a new genre a new style of music as I feel that everything is limited these days and we really need to find a way to experiment and create a new style of sound. The original title of this song was “Radio Ca-Ca”. This came about after Taylor’s son, Felix said, “Radio, caca!” when he tried to express that the radio was bad. Taylor liked the title, but the rest of the group objected. Interestingly, Lady Gaga, got her stage name from the song. This is the first track on Queen’s 1984 album, The Works. Written by the band’s drummer, Roger Taylor, this song reached the Top 40 of every major chart around the world. Its music video prominently features footage from the iconic German Sci-Fi movie Metropolis. The band performed this song, among others, during the 1985 Live Aid at Wembley Stadium in London; Queen’s set is considered to be one of the most pivotal moments in the history of rock ‘n’ roll.
