RADIO CLANG No. 10

from Radio Clang! · host Dale Merrill

It’s Labor Day weekend here in the US (and Canada too. I cannot leave out the neighbors across the river of town I grew up in.) A time to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the hard working people. For many, it means a day off, cookouts, beer and etc. For some, it means a day off and prime time to be inconsiderate to people in service industries and retail who don’t have the day off. Rude and entitled motherfuckers who think they're something special and have a “how dare they make MY holiday in any slight way slightly inconvenient?” attitude. If you’re lucky to have the day off and need to run to the store to get hot dog buns or whatever, don’t be a dick. It’s really not that hard to do. Clangoring! does not charge a subscription fee BUT paid subscribers do help pay the bills. Consider it. It's only $5 a month.Because of an internet rumor that started floating around this Friday, many this weekend, working or not, thought they had another reason to celebrate. That ended up being fallacious.
