British Columbia's West Kootenay region is rife with musical talent. Intriguing musicians, many of them not well known, are seemingly everywhere. Allie Kane is one of them. And now, thanks to a grant from Columbia Basin Trust, and the support of the Langham Cultural Society and Propel Recording Studios, Allie and her band, Allie Kane & the Local Legends, have hit the studio at Propel.Working with sound engineer Hunter Stanway, she and the group have crafted some intriguing songs, available on Bandcamp.
