The extensive work he has done on the Book of Abraham manuscripts has led him to state publicly that the “scholarship” of Book of Abraham apologists such as John Gee and Kerry Muhlestein is “abhorrent.” Professor Hauglid explains the research that has led him to this conclusion and a changing in his views on the Book of Abraham.
