So I thought, "Well okay, for Pickens, that's pretty stinking good." Well, I just got back from Moncks Corner. I'm driving home right now from doing a job down there at a Panda Express, and I was listening to their syndicate station down there—the Buck Sexton and whoever. And I like the guys and everything, but they said that they were the largest listened-to talk radio station in the state of South Carolina, and I almost fell out of my seat! I was driving up... I thought about... and believe it, they were talking about Sweet Miss Lindsey—you know, the lady from Seneca that's got... she's as pure as the wind-driven snow! "And you need to vote for me!" I just... I wanted to vomit, but then again, you know, where else? Syndicated station, but they're the most listened-to station in the state of South Carolina? And let me tell you something, nothing holds a candle to WORD! Charlie James: Well, I appreciate it! Thank you, pal, thank you so much! Yeah, lots of folks can say things, but numbers, they prove differently, don't they? When you're the number-one talk station in the number-one market in the state, that means you're the number-one in the state. So, there you go. And, you know... anyway, that's neither here nor there, that's just a little inside radio stuff. Well, this is an interesting article. This is from Notus, and it was written by a guy named Al Weaver today, early this morning at about 5:02: "Senator Darlene Graham is facing an uphill climb to win Tuesday's runoff against Representative Ralph Norman and secure a full six-year term in her late brother's South Carolina seat. Graham, a political neophyte and the sister of Lindsey Graham, came ahead of Norman and more than half a dozen candidates in the Republican primary two weeks ago. But there's a chance she may have hit her high-water mark. According to multiple Republican sources, a Graham victory is viewed as increasingly unlikely, with her debate gaffe last week in which she said that she was not informed on national security only making matters worse. That she's now perceived to be in such a bad standing is a surprise to many in the party, given that President Donald Trump has endorsed her and campaigned on her behalf. 'You're running a campaign with a virtual unknown that took on all of her brother's unfavorables without any of the goodwill that her brother has in a very short sprint,' one Republican operative with experience in South Carolina said." And she's right about this. One said, "This isn't rocket science." Might be right. Let's go to Virginia in Anderson. Virginia, how are you? Virginia: Charlie! I just went and voted at the Trinity Methodist Church on Main Street. Only about 400 people are there voting out of 6,000! Charlie James: Yeah, the only thing that we can hope is that was a lot of early voting coming in. Virginia: I know, but it's still sad! Charlie James: It is... that's the thing, though. I mean, I don't know what else we can do, Virginia, to get people to realize just how important this stuff is. Virginia: I told them I would stand out there and wave everybody in, but it's a little bit too hot! All I got to say is: you guys out there in Anderson that vote at Trinity Methodist Church, get up and go vote! Charlie James: Get out there and vote! I appreciate it, Virginia. Ronda is in Easley.
