Bhakti Rasayana Sagar Swami was born in Baku. In our family, God was not denied, but they also did not follow religious practice. My grandfather was a wealthy landowner. I thought that these must be good people, and the words that they repeat probably make sense. I had a desire to learn more about this. He is currently based in London, UK. He was initiated by Indradyumna Swami and has served in a variety of roles in ISKCON, including temple president in Chelyabinsk, Russia, from 1995 to 2005, regional secretary from 1996 to 2005, and GBC deputy for Russia from 1999 to 2003.
