A stranger, Arthur, from England, is also in residence. Alice has planned a surprise for her strait-laced blue-blood family. Her New York City police detective boyfriend is joining the gang, which turns out helpful when someone gets murdered. After a snowstorm cuts them off, they must figure out who-dun-it.
