Good morning.A recent state inspection of the Clarion County Jail revealed only minor deficiencies, mostly involving inventory records for basic cleaning supplies. Local officials confirmed that seventy-five percent of the corrective items—including unlisted brooms and dustpans—have already been fixed. The Prison Board reviewed the findings last week, though a lack of a quorum prevented any formal action.In local business news, the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce has officially opened its new downtown headquarters on Main Street. Located in the center of historic Brookville, the new location will function as a tourist hub and retail shop selling local souvenirs, high school artwork, and custom seasonal candles.And families are invited to become citizen scientists next month at the Knox Public Library.
