During a recent Farm Bureau seminar, officials highlighted legislative efforts like Senate Bill 225, which aims to protect high-value farmland from eminent domain and utility takings by requiring fair compensation for a farm's lost "goodwill." Advocates note that nearly two hundred thousand acres of Pennsylvania farmland have already been absorbed by data center developments across the state.A fifty-four-year-old Strattanville man is dead following a high-speed police pursuit early Saturday morning in Clarion County. State police report that Clarion Borough Police attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Daniel Clover, which resulted in a pursuit. Clover's vehicle crashed on Miola Road in Highland Township, killing him at the scene and injuring a fifty-eight-year-old female passenger. State police are leading the ongoing investigation.And Clarion County officials are preparing to launch a new public awareness campaign for the 988 Crisis Lifeline.
