Good morning.Clarion County officials have officially identified 1990 homicide victim “Penny Doe” as nineteen-year-old Windy Buchanan, from Louisville, Kentucky.  District Attorney Drew Welsh announced Monday that modern DNA testing and forensic genealogy solved the thirty-six-year-old mystery. Buchanan’s remains were found by children in Monroe Township in July 1990, and state police emphasize her murder investigation remains wide open to catch her killer. Buchanon's sister, Tanya, said Windy believed Pennies were lucky.  She was found with one in each pocket.  Meanwhile, Knox residents Christopher and Andrew Bryan have been held for trial in the Clarion County Court of Common Pleas on severe child abuse charges, remaining jailed on two-hundred-thousand dollars bail each.And State Police in Marienville are asking for help identifying a driver who fled troopers early Sunday on a side-by-side utility vehicle in Tionesta Borough.For more news, download the radioNOVO app. I’m Codi Gaboff, radioNOVO News, a service of Seven Mountains Media.(Photos of Windy Buchanan.
