Authorities are warning drivers and residents to stay alert for lingering debris and downed power lines throughout the morning commute.New federal legislation aimed at solving local industrial worker shortages could soon send area laborers overseas. Introduced by local Congressman Glenn "GT" Thompson, the American Manufacturing Revitalization Exchange Program Act would create an international training exchange. If passed, Pennsylvania workers could travel to allied nations for advanced, hands-on technical certifications to bring those high-tech skills back to local factories.And the region's massive summer festival season is officially in full swing this week.
