Good morning.A Punxsutawney man faces heavy felony charges following a major undercover weapons and narcotics sting. Authorities say forty-three-year-old Todd Jones was arraigned over the weekend after an investigation by the Jefferson County Drug Task Force revealed he was allegedly running an illegal distribution operation out of a Church Street residence. Jones is accused of trafficking illegal firearms and black-market opioid strips to a confidential police informant and is currently being held on fifty-thousand-dollars bail.Meanwhile, the DuBois City Council has abruptly voted to completely dissolve the city's newly created Environmental Advisory Committee. The council voted six-to-one to disband the board less than two months after its initial formation and before any local citizens could be formally appointed to serve. City officials have yet to offer an official reason behind the sudden elimination of the oversight committee.And the Brookville Y-M-C-A is moving forward with a major facility expansion project out in Pine Creek Township.
