Officials noted the severe storm damaged dozens of homes and park infrastructure, prompting thousands in Red Cross disaster relief—though total damages fell just short of state emergency declaration thresholds.In local government, DuBois City Council has unanimously approved nearly sixty-three-thousand dollars from the city’s recreation fund to replace the broken electronic sign in front of Memorial Park.
