Good morning.A twenty-four-year-old Smithmill man has been sentenced to up to seven years in prison for a 2024 DUI crash that killed a retired Roman Catholic priest in Clearfield County. Nathaniel Robert Beers pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle and driving under the influence in connection with the Cooper Township crash that killed eighty-one-year-old Robert Humenay. A judge sentenced Beers to serve twelve months minus one day to seven years in the Clearfield County Jail.Traffic signal upgrades are coming to Elk County thanks to more than two hundred thousand dollars in state Green Light-Go grants announced by State Representative Mike Armanini.
