Good morning.Jefferson County officials have dedicated a new 199-foot emergency communications tower on Snyder Hill in Young Township. Funded by an eight-hundred-sixteen-thousand-dollar state grant, the new self-supporting tower replaces an aging structure to enhance radio coverage and reliability for first responders across southern Jefferson and northern Indiana counties.In DuBois, city council members faced intense public pressure during their recent meeting following the federal guilty plea of former city manager John "Herm" Suplizio. Residents called for greater transparency and accountability, while council members noted they were advised by their solicitor not to comment on the ongoing criminal case ahead of Suplizio's December sentencing.And PennDOT is hosting a job fair tomorrow in Clearfield County for job seekers in the region.
