Good morning.A Brookville man is facing felony charges following an alleged assault on a juvenile in Jefferson County. State police say sixty-four-year-old Mark Kryl Aaron grabbed a juvenile by the throat, jabbed him with pliers, and struck him in the face during an argument at a residence in Eldred Township. Aaron is charged with felony strangulation and simple assault, with bail set at twenty-thousand dollars.In Clearfield County court news, a DuBois woman will serve sixty days on home detention after pleading guilty to simple assault and resisting arrest. Thirty-five-year-old Paige Elizabeth Lezzer was sentenced following an incident last August where she bit a DuBois police officer and kicked another while resisting arrest. President Judge Paul Cherry cited mental health factors and allowed home detention so Lezzer could maintain her job.And discount retailer Burlington has officially opened its new location on Commons Drive in DuBois.
