State Police say a dump truck traveling on Route Fifty-Four in Torrey braked abruptly for a turning vehicle, lost control, and crossed the center line. It struck a Chevy pickup truck, killing its fifty-nine-year-old driver.In Chemung County, a Pennsylvania woman is behind bars after a multi-state manhunt. Investigators say thirty-one-year-old Anita Evans repeatedly burglarized a home and garage in Baldwin. She was tracked down and arrested in North Carolina before being extradited back to the local county jail.And summer is officially arriving in Chemung County.
