Good morning.State police are investigating a fatal weekend intersection crash at Alpine Junction that left one person dead. Troopers report a northbound Tesla failed to stop for a red light at state routes thirteen and two hundred twenty-four, striking an eastbound Dodge Charger driven by Bryan Woodworth of Elmira. A passenger in the Tesla was pronounced dead at the hospital.Meanwhile, New York Attorney General Letitia James is weighing legal action after the federal government defunded the state's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, halting sixty million dollars in aid.
