Good morning.In Bradford County, Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a twenty-nine-year-old Towanda man following an undercover operation dubbed "Heavy Metal." Troopers say Rohit Ruhal was taken into custody after attempting to steal over thirty-nine thousand pounds of tungsten oxide powder while utilizing false identities. Ruhal faces felony charges of attempted theft and identity theft.Over in Corning, city officials have awarded a nearly two-and-a-half million dollar paving contract to Wenzel Contractors to upgrade nearly twenty city streets and alleys. Work is set to begin in mid-August and wrap up by November first, covering key corridors including Pine Street, Corning Boulevard, and Canisteo Street.And excitement continues to build across the Southern Tier after the LPGA and Corning Incorporated announced that professional women's golf will return to the Corning Country Club in May 2027.
