To accommodate the golf tournament’s return, Corning’s signature GlassFest celebration will shift its dates to mid-June, moving three days of glassmaking demonstrations and live music to a warmer part of the summer season.In local community news, the Bath Y-M-C-A has secured a permanent home in the former Dana Lyon School building on Liberty Street. Following a soft launch earlier this summer, community leaders will hold an official grand opening celebration on September first to showcase expanded fitness, wellness, and youth programming.And aspiring local singers have a shot at national stardom as American Idol launches virtual auditions across New York.
