Good morning.Steuben County health officials have confirmed two new measles cases, bringing the region’s summer total to four. Both cases involve unvaccinated residents, with one infection tied to St. James Hospital in Hornell. Health officials say both individuals are safely isolated, potential contacts are being notified, and the overall risk to the vaccinated public remains low.In Elmira news, the community is remembering former Elmira Pioneers owner John Ervin, who has passed away at the age of eighty. Ervin bought the team in nineteen ninety-seven, leading them to a championship in his first year and introducing the iconic mascot, Stitches, to Dunn Field.And Corning has been named one of twenty-five official Hallmark Christmas Towns and is now competing for the title of Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town of twenty-twenty-six.
