Firefighters battled the fire at twelve-fifty Schweizer Road for over four hours before extinguishing it around seven A-M. No injuries were reported, and state fire investigators are currently on scene.Meanwhile, the Elmira Animal Shelter is temporarily closed following a severe parvovirus outbreak that forced officials to humanely euthanize eleven dogs.
