Good morning.A Chemung County congregation has held its final service after nearly one hundred sixty years in Millport. Leaders at Pine Valley Baptist Church say financial constraints and mounting building maintenance costs forced the closure. The congregation will temporarily relocate services to the Best Western in Horseheads starting September twentieth under the new name Ten-Fifteen Church.In regional events, the Golf Heritage Society is bringing its fifty-fifth national convention to Tioga County this week. A free public trade show takes place Wednesday, September sixteenth, at Tioga Downs Resort and Casino, featuring historic golf memorabilia, interactive swing setups, and free appraisals for local collectors.And the Tanglewood Nature Center in Elmira is gearing up for its annual "Twilight at Tanglewood" fundraiser this Saturday, September nineteenth.
