Good morning.A New Castle man has been sentenced to up to thirteen-and-a-half years in prison following a domestic violence conviction in Trumbull County. Thirty-three-year-old Justin Fry-Starrett was sentenced after a jury found him guilty of felony assault, domestic violence, and fleeing from police following a September 2025 attack in Liberty Township that left a woman injured.In Butler County, a Pittsburgh woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to assaulting a police officer on the General Butler Bridge. Thirty-one-year-old Shawndia Devaughn was sentenced to five to twenty-three months in prison after attempting to strike an officer who responded to a call on the bridge back in March.Over in Youngstown, police and child welfare officials are investigating after an eleven-year-old boy was rescued from a burning home where he was trapped inside a locked cage.
