Evidence presented by the state attorney general's office proved that Gonzales failed to refill a resident's anti-seizure medication, causing the patient to suffer a fatal medical emergency after going without the prescription for more than ten days.Meanwhile, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a major weekend collision after an alleged drunk driver struck a law enforcement vehicle while traveling the wrong way on U.S. Route thirty. Dispatches reveal the wrong-way motorist collided directly with a patrol car in East Liverpool late Saturday night. The responding trooper sustained minor injuries, and the wrong-way driver remains hospitalized in stable condition.And utility crews have successfully restored power to thousands of residents across Lawrence and Mercer counties following a wave of severe weekend thunderstorms.
