Good morning.A judge has ordered a Youngstown man held without bond following a drive-by shooting in Boardman that left two women injured. Thirty-five-year-old Eugene Thompkins surrendered to authorities Monday after being charged with attempted murder and felonious assault. Prosecutors say Thompkins leaned out of a vehicle and fired at least ten rounds into a car carrying two women and two children. Both women were wounded before colliding with another vehicle, while the children were uninjured.In Mahoning County, humane investigators have rescued eighty animals from multiple properties across the Youngstown area. Officials with Animal Charity of Ohio executed search warrants alongside Youngstown Police, removing dozens of roosters and dogs amid an active investigation into animal neglect and suspected rooster fighting. Authorities are asking the public for donations to help care for the rescued animals.And the N-T-S-B has released its preliminary report on a fatal June plane crash involving an aircraft that took off from Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. Federal investigators report the plane made a sharp turn and a steep, nose-down descent into a Geauga County field shortly after the pilot canceled flight-following services to navigate around weather.
