Good morning.A scary situation unfolded in New Castle Tuesday night after a vehicle crashed directly into Quality Life Services nursing home on Friendship Street. The impact severed a main gas line, prompting an emergency evacuation of the facility. Officials were able to shut off the gas leak, and all residents were returned safely to the building with no injuries reported.In local education, Lawrence County Career and Technical Center principal Vince Pavia has submitted his resignation after just being hired as Shenango's new assistant principal of student affairs. The technical school can retain Pavia for up to sixty days while launching a search for his replacement.And Haunted Hill View Manor is hosting a special paranormal event in New Castle this weekend.
