Good morning.A prominent Valley priest and a registered sex offender have both pleaded not guilty to public indecency charges in Trumbull County. Authorities say seventy-five-year-old Monsignor Anthony Spinosa and fifty-four-year-old Kenneth Kopp were arrested following a July thirty-first incident in Warren’s Perkins Park near a children's playground. Both men are scheduled to return to court on September fourteenth.In local government news, the City of New Castle is moving forward with plans to apply for a seven-hundred-fifty-thousand-dollar state housing grant. The funding, through the HOME Investment Partnership program, would be used to rehabilitate up to eleven owner-occupied homes for low-income residents. A public hearing on the proposal is set for August twenty-fifth.And over three hundred families turned out for the tenth annual Back to School Bash at New Castle High School.
