A Mercer County judge continued the trial to March twenty-twenty-seven following an attorney conflict of interest within the public defender’s office.State Representative Marla Brown and New Castle Police have launched Project Lifesaver across Lawrence County. The national program provides free radio-transmitter wristbands to vulnerable children and adults with autism or dementia, allowing first responders to locate missing individuals in under thirty minutes.And New Castle City Council has appointed Chief Financial Officer Stephanie DiCarlo as interim city administrator starting September first.
