State police report thirty-two-year-old Joshua Tisak was found unresponsive in his cell on June twenty-first. Following an investigation, the Mercer County Coroner determined Tisak died from blunt force trauma, leading to charges against fellow inmate Donald Stinedurf the Third.In regional health news, state health officials have confirmed two cases of measles in neighboring Mercer County. While no cases have been detected in Lawrence County, local medical experts are emphasizing that vaccination remains the best defense against the highly contagious virus.And as students prepare to head back to school across Lawrence County, several area districts are seeing major changes.
