A county judge ruled the agency will not be required to provide round-the-clock security personnel at its proposed four-bed men's recovery home on Beckford Street, striking down a stipulation previously imposed by city council.In school news, the Union Area School District officially renamed Memorial Elementary over the weekend to the Linda J. O’Neill Memorial Elementary School. The ceremony honored the late long-time educator who served the district for fifty-three years as a teacher and principal, pioneering the county's first full-day kindergarten program.And data center developments remain in focus across Lawrence County.
