The measures would strengthen penalties, expand protections for victims and address crimes involving AI-generated child pornography. Local lawmakers from Crawford, Erie, Lawrence and Butler counties are among the co-sponsors.Meanwhile, Organizers in Crawford County are preparing for “An Olde Fashioned Fourth,” a major Independence Day celebration in Meadville marking America’s 250th anniversary. Events will include a county-wide parade on July 3rd, live music, rides, food trucks and fireworks at Allegheny College on July 4th.And in West Mead Township, Crawford County’s newest disc golf course officially opens this weekend.
