Good morning.The Pennsylvania State Police have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of a three-year-old child in Mercer County. Emergency responders rushed to a residence on Columbia Avenue in the Borough of Greenville following reports of an unresponsive toddler who was not breathing. Upon arrival, crews discovered the boy was already deceased. The state police major case team has taken over the investigation, serving a search warrant on the property and conducting numerous interviews. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.Meanwhile, a thirty-eight-year-old Greenville man faces felony assault charges after state police say he intentionally used his vehicle to ram into another motorist. Investigators report the suspect initiated a high-speed pursuit down East Jamestown Road before intentionally striking a second vehicle. Two eighteen-year-old passengers sustained serious bodily injuries in the crash and were rushed to the hospital.
